![]() But +9 speed and +18 ACC is pretty significant too imo. If nothing else matters to you, the 15% crit alone should speak to its worth. At low levels yeah I wouldn't bother having them just buffing. Well, first off do note that I'm pretty much just talking about high level Jesters here, with maxed or near maxed Battle Ballad. all in the hopes of maybe overkilling them on turn 3? Bad! Bad Jester! You're really testing my resolve! Letting opponents live long enough to hurt his party. and the fool went and sang a song instead. That doesn't sound like a good trade at all.īy attacking, he had a *very* good chance to hit (with has a very nice chance of it being a crit), right then and there in the first turn of combat. Holy penalty, Batman, that doesn't sound like a good trade. He's giving +6 Accuracy and +5% crit to to other characters, and giving himself big fat penalty of -80 Accuracy and -25% crit. What are you giving up for this? That's simple: your Jester is not attacking. well, actually it kinda sucks it will turn one attack out of 17 from a miss to a hit, and one attack out of 20 from a hit to a crit, so most battles, it'll only affect one or two attacks. +6 Accuracy and +5% crit to three (or two, if you have a healer) other characters is. Getting your characters above opponents on the attack order is only going to get you a couple more attacks than you would normally have, but you're using up two actions to do so, so no gain there. While the Jester is buffing, he doesn't do anything, so you only get three actions per turn instead of four. Having three fast characters is not as good as having four slow ones. Whaaat? I was with you until you said this bit of blasphemy. Originally posted by Tripoteur Ventripotent:Using Inspiring Tune is bad, almost as awful as using Battle Ballad
